The Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) is the apex governing body for T-20 Cricket game in Jammu & Kashmir headquarter at Doda (J&K). The YSCC Doda was formed in 2000 & it is a society registered under Societies Registration Act. The Club is the prominent & the oldest cricket club of District Doda Jammu & Kashmir.

The Club starts organising District level as well as State level cricket tournaments & also North Zone level tournaments with live telecast facility via

local media channel of Doda. Our Club has been organising T-20 cricket tournaments keeping in mind that in J&K thousands of all level poor cricket players from backward
areas, remote & rural areas, backward class & poor background, Govt Schools, Small Towns/Street in J&K are playing cricket but golden opportunities are less & hidden talents are surplus. Young Star Cricket Club Doda is a big official platform for those neglected surplus talented poor cricket players from all over state who cannot avail any opportunity to come forward & serve the country through their cricket talent. In the year 2004, a 14 months little child namely "GUFRAN" became the victim of an accident & died at the same age & since then YSCC Doda starts organising state level cricket tournaments in his sweet memory which were live telecasted first time in the history of J&K. The Club has won the hearts of the people of the state & the people remain looking for the next tournament & their presence make it appear like International one. The Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) President Dr.Farooq Abdullah appreciated the YSCC for promoting the sports activities particularly cricket in the state. The people of J&K also highly appreciated our club & congratulates us for organising these mega events in the area for promoting educational, social & cultural standard in the state. Our club also received the best cricket club award from the Govt of J&K on the eve of Independence Day 2007.
